Exhibition stand | Windmöller & Hölscher | K Duesseldorf
XXL Exhibition stand at the number one Trade Fair for Plasics and Rubber in Duesseldorf:
At the Duesseldorf plastics trade fair in 2019, Windmöller & Hölscher once again relied on trade fair construction specialist i.xpo from Kaarst. The popular trade fair stand design has undergone continuous development in recent years and was well received by the trade fair visitors, as usual.
For the machine builder from Lengerich, the focus was on the impressive “Varex” film extruder tower, which was visible from every corner of the trade show hall. The challenge for the i.xpo design department lay in integrating the machines into the overall appearance of the trade fair stand. To do this, the colour and graphic design and the design vocabulary were coordinated to match. The result was a seamless transition from architecture to exhibit.
The well attended presentation of the latest Varex took place on the ground floor. A forum and viewing platform offered adequate space to accommodate the public. Furthermore, 4.0 RUBY and the Visual Assistance were presented in the context of the packaging. These pieces of software demonstrate the wealth of data accumulated during production – an area with particular value added for interested parties, customers and manufacturers. This area had an accordingly elaborate design; polygonal terminals and product displays gave the segment a futuristic look. In the age of sustainable management, a particularly prominent place in the overall concept had to be created for the subject. The positioning of information panels and displays directly at the reception highlighted the importance of so-called “greenovation”.
On the upper floor, advisers and customers were able to withdraw to one of the 12 meeting rooms or to settle in the extensive hospitality area.
All in all, the Exhibition stand offered both the required functional areas and attractive architecture. With the 420 m2 two-storey structure, typical W&H colour scheme and sheer size over 1,400 m floor space, the trade fair stand was once again among the top trade fair construction projects at the Duesseldorf plastics trade fair.
