A concept second to none: The trade fair construction project for KS-Original at the Munich Bau trade fair.
Three-metre-high sand-lime bricks, a seven-metre-high standard lamp and an inviting interior with consulting niches and a large XXL dining table – these are the core elements of KS-Original’s trade fair booth concept.
The design was derived from the advertising campaign’s key visuals. The staging of the sand-lime bricks between home accessories such as wind lanterns, lamps and flower vases led to the design of the large floor lamp, which was eye-catching throughout the entire exhibition hall. The matching oversized socket found its place in one of the stone blocks.
The stone blocks themselves were one-to-one copies of the original products and made to scale. To ensure the perfect illusion, the i.xpo design team insisted on imitating the typical sand-lime brick surface. This meant plenty of work on site for our team of painters, starting with a special primer and wall paint, right up to finest quartz sand blasting. The result was a carbon copy of the surface of genuine sand-lime bricks.
Both in reality and within the context of the trade fair concept, sand-lime bricks act as a separating element between the interior and the exterior. On the outside, we had the strong blocks, whose structure and sheer size hardly allowed them to develop any expressiveness. Inside: a cosy area, inviting trade fair visitors and guests to technical discussions. A coffee bar and a large dining table were also included, where the various experts could meet and discuss matters, in addition to six consultant niches for specific product discussions.
A challenging booth construction project that is sure to remain in good memory for visitors, our customer and the entire i.xpo team for a long time to come.
